decent creature feature with a much smaller scale than i expected. the practical ape design is great. the script is mostly serviceable but theres one monologue from the lead that's accidentally hilarious — i had to pause and rewatch it. would watch a sequel honestly. small budget, mostly good choices, occasionally cheesy. a fun late night watch.
