wasn't scary, wasn't funny, wasn't anything. shame because the trailer promised something weirder and the first 10 minutes had a vibe i was actually buying. then it just settles into generic a24-adjacent dread without earning it. the lead is good. the script is not. one star off because the final shot is genuinely cool. otherwise nope.
