Oktay Baraheni (born May 12, 1974) is an Iranian writer and director. He is the eldest son of Reza Baraheni, a well-known Iranian poet and literary figure. He left his industrial engineering studies unfinished in Iran and, after immigrating to Canada, graduated in cinema from York University in Toronto.
