Marc Colditz was born in Saxony in 1997 and has German and Czech roots. Following his high school graduation, he completed his apprenticeship as a Management Assistant for Audiovisual Media at the Berlin-based independent film distributor Neue Visionen Filmverleih in 2018. Upon graduating, he transitioned to PLUTO FILM, a world sales company, before moving forward to Ma.ja.de.
