The monodrama is based on Alojzy Lyska's text “Jak Niobe.” Hanka Jonakowa, a Silesian born near Pszczyna, spins a tale in which personal experiences are intertwined with great historical events, almost always signifying fear and suffering. The show is inspired by the history and culture of Silesia.
