1918. Siberia, a prisoner-of-war camp for Austrian soldiers. Among them are also Poles. A recruitment point for the Polish Army is set up near the camp. The Polish prisoners organize a unit and set off for Mikołajewsko, which is occupied by a unit of the "Whites." They capture a train belonging to the "Reds."
