The film focuses on the activities of a theater group founded in 1976, currently known as the Center for Theater Practice – Gardzienice Theater Association. Under the direction of Włodzimierz Staniewski, the group bases its artistic productions on folk culture traditions, and its audience and participants are rural residents.
