Jorge is an ambitious lawyer on his way to Acapulco, where he hopes to receive a promotion. His girlfriend Mónica is traveling with him. When their car breaks down, Jorge desperately starts hitchhiking. Finally, a car pulls over, and their journey continues—only to reveal that some past connections are never truly left behind.
