Helena Maria Balbinot, a countryside teacher from the south of Brazil, exchanged letters during 24 years with Brazilian modernist poet Carlos Drummond de Andrade. The movie reveals part of these letters. Through scenes of poetry and extreme beauty, this friendship is reinvented in the audience eyes.
