New Estonian punk is boiling over. A colourful group of bands with overlapping members – Skoone, Avemaria, O.V.M., Keskkool and Spekter – resemble 1980s American West Coast punk (Black Flag, X, Germs, Minor Threat, NOFX and The Cramps, among others) more than the staple acts of our Singing Revolution era.
